The sale had been opposed for nearly a year by the US Trustee and the cult. The house sold just before being foreclosed. (Helena Kobrin and Thomas R. Hogan got a blocking order out of the pliant Judge Whyte after 6 pm on the last day, but didn't tell the title company so the sale went through because she screwed up.) The cult and the US Trustee had been trying to get the house foreclosed so neither my wife nor I would get any of the money from the sale ($290K is now in the hands of the Trustee.) Had it been foreclosed, RTC would not have received anything, but their point has never been to get money, only to prevent my wife or me from getting any of it. (By their own admission in the Lisa McPherson case-- Exhibit 185--they have spent at least $1.4 million on me.) Still, knowing they can't win on my wife's claim on the money and (I think) wanting to close down this round of litigation before the Narconon rape case gets going, the cult offered a deal to take only part of her half of the money and all of mine, if I would agree to dismiss the bankruptcy and let them have all of my equity in the house. I had thought the cult had intimidate the Trustee in San Jose, but in the last few day I have received absolutely certain information that the U.S. Trustee, an arm of the Justice Department in Washington, has been directing its agents in San Jose to insist on dismissing the bankruptcy case so the cult can take *all* the money unless I appear and am arrested at a "meeting of creditors." What's amusing about this is that I owe about $20K in income taxes that I couldn't pay in 1999-2001. The US Trustee is insisting the case be dismissed. If they do get the case dismissed, the cult gets money that the IRS has a claim on. Makes you wonder who they are working for. Keith Henson
